beautiful Photo Stories

light1

we have three really beautiful photo stories for you to enjoy:

  • 1.) our monthly Children's class 'Dharma for Kids' is very popular with the kids and parents alike. We recently had our our 'Dharma for Kids end-of-year party' at the Centre. To view the stunning photos of this fun day click here

  • 2.) our Zululand end-of-year Prayers for Healing. Many representatives of the different rural communities that Gen Sangdak visits on a regular basis met at our mini temple in Eshowe (northern KwaZulu-Natal). Gen Sangdak gave a heart-moving teaching with special advice on how to deal with the widespread suffering of the AIDS epidemic, and how to grow a good heart of love and compassion. We then engaged in the Medicine Buddha Prayers together, in isiZulu. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the good energy and powerful blessings, and savoured the sumptuous feast afterwards.

  • 3.) some weeks ago Mahasiddha Kadampa Buddhist Centre organized the special Nature Walk in the Iphithi Nature Reserve in Everton, near Hillcrest. There was a great response, and Gen Sangdak guided everyone through a special meditation, in the middle of nature, using the conducive conditions for inner peace and deep well-being. To share this very enjoyable experience with you, here are a number great pictures on a web based photo album for you to see.

On Friday 8th April 2011 we had our annual Dharma Celebration in Eshowe, northern KwaZulu-Natal, the blessing ceremony of Buddha Shakyamuni.
Gen Sangdak has been teaching in the rural communities over the past years, and 150 people from the different communities came to enjoy and find much benefit and inspiration from this beautiful and very blessed event.
Giving Buddha's teachings and instructions for training the mind in loving kindness is perfect charity, it is bringing peace and harmony to the families and communities, giving them hope, confidence and wisdom.
